"Transformation Of Ignored Things" (part 2)

Installation exhibited at Contemporary Gallery, Brighton.

There was limited equipment available for this exhibition, so the two synchronised films had to be adapted for the space. I edited them into a splitscreen DVD combining both soundtracks so that it would use just one projector.

To create a similar spacial experience of video as in the graduate exhibition, I made a back projection screen. This was suspended from the ceiling so that the top image hit the screen, and the bottom image hit the wall. In the space between the stairwell where people could sit and watch both or walk between just 2 speakers.
