Japanese Street Festival

Ingrid's origami sculpture will be on display in Moshi Moshi throughout the festival. In addition, Ingrid will be there in person on Saturday 30th May selling haiku books, origami jewellery and much more! On Saturday evening films of Ingrid's installation work will be projected as a backdrop for japanese bands performing from 7.30pm. For more information click here.

"Ingrid Plum is a Danish multi-media artist, known for installations such as "Murmuration at Embassy Court" using origami, video and sound. Her contemplative work in prints, photography, painting, origami and sculpture will be on show. Guests Caroline Saul and Lizzie Thomas (AOH brochure cover image) return with intricate sculptures in recycled plastics and wood with paper cuts. Prints, cards and hand-made books will also be for sale."

"Issues of Landscape" 4th -15th August 2007

Ingrid showed a new large scale installation "Insubstantial", using wax sculptures melting slowly, in this exhibition curated by Gum and Oak. An essay and poem on the work written by Ingrid Plum was also displayed.

Ingrid Plum was a guest artist as part of the amazing exhibition by resident artist Laura Trevail at Viewfinder Gallery in Greenwich. The exhibition was called "The bulb has blown in the lighthouse because I was only pretending to change the fuse". Ingrid showed 2 installations, "Dead Space" and a study for new piece "Insubstantial", and performed "Wishes" on 22nd and 28th July. www.viewfinder.org.uk.
"Elevation From Terror" 25th June - 13th July 2007

Collaboration with Robert Aldous in memory of 7/7.
Ingrid ran workshops making origami birds with families of victims and survivors of the 7th July bombings. These were suspended in St Pancras Church as part of an installation, with a map by Robert Aldous which was gradually covered with strips of safety blankets.

"Emerging" 4th May 2007 - 28th May 2007
Ingrid was asked to create an installation in the main shrine room at Brighton Buddhist Centre, in collaboration with people who use and run the space. "Emerging" used reflections and transparent origami lotus flowers.

Ingrid joined RAG at St Matthews, Worthing, for their annual Art Fair. She showed a variety of work, including a new series "Haiku Hallucinations". This
was also be the first time a new book of selected haiku was available.
Each
book is 100% handmade, signed and limited edition.
Thursday 28th December 2006
Ingrid was Artist in residence at Brick Lane Gallery, London, and was exhibiting as part of PEACE CAMP. The installation explored the idea of harmony and peace through examining the word "peace". She suspended white origami birds, feathers from the ceiling of the gallery, and asked members of the public to contribute their words defining "Peace".

Worthing Pier Day.
Ingrid created a unique installation titled "Wishes" to celebrate the modernist architecture of Worthing Pier winning Pier of the year 2006. She asked members of the public to write messages or wishes for the future which were tied to the pier, until the pier resembled a Buddhist temple adorned with prayers.

Justice for Valentines Victims", Live peformance as part of "We
Love You", Valentine's Live Art Festival, in Worthing Town
Centre curated by RAG. Ingrid wrote haiku for strangers
and gave them to members of the

Valentine's day cards.
